Hudson County Sheriff’s Office presented with 73 bulletproof vests through grant and County Prosecutor’s Office

The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office is the recipient of 73 bulletproof vests in a joint effort with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Bulletproof Vest Fund. Sheriff Juan M. Perez expressed his appreciation for this effort to Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio as the Prosecutor’s Office presented the vests to the Sheriff’s Office at the County Administration Building yesterday. Perez stated “this is a wonderful example of cooperation and assistance between law enforcement agencies and we thank the Prosecutor for these vests which, although we pray we will never have to encounter the occasion when an officer is faced with the circumstances to use the vest.” Photo: From left to right: Hudson County Sheriff Detective Osbado Hernandez, Sheriff’s Officer Vivian Rosado, Sheriff Juan M.
