A funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 16 at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Jersey City, for Maria Deleto Dispoto, 88. She passed away Jan. 12 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Jersey City she resided there all of her life. Before her retirement in 1984 she was the co-owner and seamstress of Marietta Dress Company in Bayonne, which she owned for 25 years. Mrs. Dispoto was a communicant of Saint Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Jersey City. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Dispoto in 1985; her brother Vincent Deleto in 1985 and her niece Maria Fritz on Jan. 10. Surviving are her nephew Dominic Deleto and his wife Mary Beth, of Sayreville; her niece Diane Costello and her husband Michael, of Lawrenceville; and her great-nieces and nephews, Donnie, and Chrissy Deleto and Amanda and James Costello.
