Funeral mass took place Jan. 2 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, Hoboken for Rosa Pisani, 89, of Hoboken. She passed away Dec. 29, peacefully in Hoboken. Rosa was born in Molfetta, Italy and arrived in Hoboken on May 15, 1958. She was a retired seamstress for the Hoboken Garment Company. Mrs. Pisani was also a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Madonna dei Martre Society. She was predeceased by her husband Pasquale in 1985. She was also predeceased by two brothers Angelo and Saverio, a sister Silvia DeCandia, and a daughter-in-law, Francis. Rosa was the mother of Pantaleo Pisani, Mauro and his wife Gaudenzia, Nicola Pisani, Saverio “Sam” and his wife Maria. She is survived by two brothers, Onofrio and Domenico Minervini, and two sisters Madalena Mongelli and Maria Pisani. She also leaves 10 very special grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
