SCHULTHEIS, OLGA

Funeral services were held Dec. 22 for Olga Schultheis, 91, of North Bergen and Belmar. She passed away Dec. 17. Mrs. Schultheis was born in New York City and lived in North Bergen most of her life until relocating to Belmar a year and a half ago. She worked in the garment industry in her early years and was a housewife the remainder of her life. She served as treasurer and hospitality chairman of the North Bergen Senior Citizens Club on 45th Street, was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and a parishioner of St. Brigid’s Church, North Bergen. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harry Aschoff, who was killed during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II and her second husband, John Schultheis. She is survived by her son, Harry Aschoff, of Belmar; four grandchildren, Laurie Moran, Nancy Pardo, Sharon Howard, and Steve Aschoff; nine great grandchildren, and her sister Emma Murray. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
