Dear Editor:
With the season of giving fast approaching I must recognize a great person for the dedication ad respect he has for the children of Hoboken. One afternoon Assemblyman Ramos stopped by just to say hello to the children of the Boys and Girls Club. Assemblyman Ramos noticed that the children needed some supplies in the Game Room and without being asked Assemblyman Ramos showed up later in the week with supplies needed for our children to enjoy our Game Room. The swift action of Assemblyman Ramos should not go without notice by the public, even though the assemblyman does many things of this nature out of the goodness of his heart and not for media attention. Good people need to be thanked in times of such. With that being said… I, Jay Garcia, the Unit Director of the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Assemblyman Ruben Ramos, Jr. for his generous donation to the Boys and Girls Club. The supplies meant a lot to the children and they can now learn how sportsmanship, team work, communications skills with each other, and many other assets will allow each child to grow and each become a better person. Once again, on behalf of the members of the Boys and Girls Club, we would like to thank you.
