Dear Editor:
On behalf of the typhoon affected school children of the Philippines, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Secaucus School District Administration, the Service Learning Coordinator, and Student Government Organizations and their Advisors for their help in making FIL-Aid’s “From Trick or Treat to Holiday Gifts for Typhoon Kids” donation in kind drive a huge success. About 100 lbs. of assorted candies, chocolates and other trick or treat goodies are now on their way to the Philippines for distribution to about 500 schoolchildren. This holiday gift from the Secaucus schoolchildren will surely touch the hearts and bring joy and holiday spirit to these typhoon battered kids.
