Police-community cooperation has never been better

Dear Editor:
I want to thank Chief Falco, Lt. Ferrante, Sgt. Marnell and all the other officers who took the time to hold a Community Meeting/Meet & Greet in our area on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009. They have opened up a channel of communication by listening to our concerns and sharing their ideas to improve the quality of life in Hoboken. Some of the topics they included were; Light Rail Problems, Residential Burglaries, Bike Safety and Bike Lanes, Vandalism and Burglaries to Autos, School and Juvenile Problems, Traffic and Pedestrian Safety. etc…
I have been in Hoboken for about 13 years and the level of cooperation between the Police Department and the community has never been better.

I’ve enjoyed working with Lt. Ferrante and Sgt. Marnell and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Thank you.
Frances Jennings
