Reports: Brian Stack apology letter was a fake

UNION CITY AND BEYOND — According to press reports, six people were arrested on Friday with distributing a letter purportedly from Mayor Brian Stack, apologizing for his shortcomings.
The flier was distributed Friday night in a TD Bank Parking lot on Kennedy Blvd.
Among those arrested, according to the Jersey Journal, is a longtime Stack critic who used to be the principal of one of the town’s high schools, and who also serves as the superintendent of schools for a district in Central Jersey.
