A funeral service was held Dec. 1 at Corpus Christi Church, Hasbrouck Heights, for Rose M. Filosa, 89, of Jersey City. She passed away Nov. 26. Mrs. Filosa was born in Jersey City. For 30 years she was a waitress for Miss America Diner in Jersey City and retired in 1996. She was a member of the Rosary Society. She was the wife of the late Michael P. Filosa; the mother of the late Michael F. Filosa Sr. and his wife Margaret Mary and James A. Filosa; the grandmother of Michael F. Filosa Jr. and his wife Angela, Melissa Palmer; the great grandmother of five great grandchildren, and the sister of James Cattrillo and the late Alfonse Cattrillo and Timothy Cattrillo.
