Funeral mass was celebrated Nov. 21 at Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Arthur Pelaez, 86, of Hoboken, the original owner and operator of “The Clam Broth House” for more than 40 years. He passed away Nov. 19 at the Compassionate Care Hospice, Jersey City. He was the husband of Cristina Palaez; the brother of Hilda Ugarte, Ana Aragon, and Rosalina Orama; the brother-in-law of Avy Laborde, and the grandfather of Jennifer Zimmerman. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
