Funeral services took place Nov. 23 at Brown Memorial Church of the Living God, Jersey City, for Genice Johnson. She passed away Nov. 17 at Hoboken University Medical Center. She was the mother of Thomas, Tyrone, Tyrell, and Shameka Johnson; the grandmother of Nayshawn Hall; the daughter of Benjamin Johnson Sr. and Rachel Johnson; the sister of Benjamin Jr., Joseph, Jesse, Bruce Johnson, Cynthia Brown, Bensie Ware, Patricia Woodard and the late Alfred Scott Johnson and Cathy Johnson Murray. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of friends and relatives. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
