Funeral services took place Nov. 21 at St. Johns Baptist Church, Newark, for Shakeerah Janta Garretson, 25. She passed away Nov. 13. She was born in Newark, and she lived in Jersey City. Shakeerah leaves to cherish her memory her father, David Garretson; her sister, Shakimiah Garretson; her grandfather, Joe Barr Sr. and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
