BAGLEY, THOMAS M

A memorial service was held Nov. 20 at All Saints Episcopal Church, Hoboken, for Thomas M. Bagley, 42. He passed away Nov. 14 at home. He was born in Phoenixville, Pa., the youngest of five children and the son to Leon and Rachael Bagley. Tom was a fashion designer specializing in denim and sportswear, working for such organizations as Polo Jeans, Perry Ellis, Bugle Boy, Group Three Design, The Li and Fung Group and Jeetish Designs, Inc. He was a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Philadelphia University) where he launched his career into design and fashion. He loved art, Broadway musicals, old Hollywood memorabilia and new Hollywood gossip (“How you doin’!”, as Wendy Williams would say). He always had a sketch pad nearby ready to bring a design idea to life. He was a life-long member of the Sigma-Phi-Epsilon Fraternity and wishes his bothers a long and prosperous life. He is survived by his mother, Rachael; his brothers, Timothy (T.J.) and James and his sisters, Scotty and Lesa. Tommy is also survived by T.J.’s wife, Deborah and their two sons, Tucker and Luke; Lesa’s husband Thomas Reed and their children, Christopher, Alexander and Nancy (Atwell) and Scotty’s husband David. Tom is survived by his partner, Robert A. Lopez (Rob) of 10 years and three months. Services arranged by the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
