Dear Editor:
I am writing this letter in gratitude to the Hoboken Elks Lodge #74.
The kind members were gracious enough to elect me “Italian gentlemen of the year” for 2009. The event was held at the lodge on 10/3/09 and everyone who attended and contributed had a fantastic time (including me).
I would like to take the time to thank some individuals, for without their hard work and generosity the event would not have been a success. They are: Barbara and Jude Fitzgibbons, Jimmy Farina, Michael Mastropasqua, Kevin Houghton, Eddie Madigan, Dennis De Somma. Jerry Altomare, Ricky Repetti, Tom Settembre, Sherry Sparacino, Jason Alvarez, Bart Reilly, Harold Milne Jr., Billy Baron, Danny Baron and last but not least Eileen and Thomas Foley (my favorite elk).
A special thanks goes to the Hoboken PBA #2 and their delegate Mark Aurigemma ad also Madeline of “Carlos Bakery” (Cake Boss) for their donation.
The event was a night in my life I will never forget!
