Thank you from the Community Cancer Support Group

To the Editor:
On Saturday, Oct. 24, the Community Cancer Support Group held their annual fundraiser. We would like to thank all of the businesses who supported us and so graciously donated to our event. I urge the people of Bayonne and surrounding communities to support our local merchants, who provide crucial backing for many of the various charities and local causes and each and every year.
So here’s to the places that went out of their way to help us this year: Al Richard’s, Beauty Biz, Blimpies of Broadway, Barney’s Bargain Store, European Day Spa, Pizza Master, Hair Cutting Plus, Stanley’s Jewelry, Unique Book Store, Café Bello, Curves for Women, Mona Lisa, Bayonne Go-Cart, Ambramson’s, The Venice, Sound City, San Vito’s, K & D Jewelry & Gifts, Ten East, Stop & Shop, Different Strokes, Party Connection, Herbert’s Army & Navy, Aaron Gold, 40th Street Florist, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Kodak Jewelry, Frank Theatres, Eddy’s Cycle City, Pretty Nails, Pastime Hobbies & Miniatures, 3 Brothers from Italy, Finger Nail II, Star Diamond Jewelry, LTD Balloons, Sacalis Florist, Advanced Photo, Jerry’s Drug Store, Pompei Pizza and for the most delicious cookies Vinnie and Antonio’s Bakery.
To the ladies in the quilting group, thank you for one of the most beautiful and unique prizes we received.
To everyone who purchased a raffle ticket or ticket to the event or placed an ad in our journal, thank you.
Your support enables us to provide monthly support group meetings, as well as services and programs to people living with cancer.
