Funeral services took place Oct. 26 for Franceen Grader, 66, of Woodland Park. She passed away Oct. 22. Before retiring in 1994, she worked as a guidance counselor at Memorial High School in West New York. She attained her bachelor’s degree from Douglass College and her master’s degree from Jersey City State University. She was a member of the American Contract Bridge League. She was the wife of John C. Grader; the daughter of Evelyn Polise and the late Pasquale Polise; the mother of John Grader, Jr. and his wife Nancy and Kathryn Jaeger and her wife Elizabeth and grandmother of John and Emily Grader; the sister of Roslyn Pizzichillo and her husband Frank, Patty Buyukas and her husband Michael, and Donna Ross and her husband Andrew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Santangelo Funeral Home, Woodland Park.
