Dear Editor:
The purpose of an election is not to declare a winner. Rather, the election is to convince the losers that they have lost. The Elwell political machine has had nine years to “make Secaucus one of the best places to live.” Sure… if you want to live in a town that mirrors Jersey City or Hoboken. Elwell’s puppets continue to stress their record of accomplishments and the need to be re-elected because there’s so much more to do. Why do the taxpayers have to pay for their alleged “accomplishments?” The Secaucus landscape is dotted with the results of their questionable decision-making. Their record and rhetoric have pushed our town in the wrong direction. It is time to sweep out the leftovers from Team Elwell. It is time to Take Back Secaucus. Use your vote wisely November 3. Vote for Gonnelli, Costantino, Bueckner and McKeever.
