Funeral services were held Oct. 17 for Helen Stamoolis, 82, formerly of Hoboken. She passed away Oct. 14 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Passaic. Helen was born in New York and lived there till 1972 when she moved to Hoboken; for the past eleven years she has lived in Clifton. She was a waitress for Steve’s White Star Restaurant, NYC, retiring in 1985. She was the wife of the late Charles V. Rovetti; the mother of Stephanie Schreiber and her husband Doug, Anna Woods and her husband Leroy, Mary Stamoolis, and the late John and Steven Stamoolis; the grandmother of Anthony and Steven Woods, Steven Stamoolis, Lisa and John Montalvo, Helena Nelson, Stephanie Rodriguez, and Brendan Schreiber, and the great grandmother of seven.
