Khalil A. Hamza, 56, “Mr. K”, a father, brother, friend, and mentor, passed away Oct. 9. Khalil was born in the Bronx, but resided in Jersey City with his wife and three children. Khalil was a retired U.S. Navy veteran. He was also a Certified Interventionalist, Alcohol and Drug counselor (CADC), and Social worker. He was employed as a Senior Counselor at Logan Hall with Community Residential Centers in Newark. Services arranged by the Bergen Funeral Service, Hasbrouck Heights.
