The Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey will hold their 2009 annual Walk for Wishes event this Sunday, Oct.18 at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.
Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and the walk will kick off at 10 a.m. There will be additional activities for the entire family including arts and crafts, face painting, music, and refreshments.
Teams can consist of two people or as many as a few hundred. Each team member must register individually by logging onto www.wishnj.org. Groups can show their team spirit by walking in matching team shirts or hats, and carrying banners and signs to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s mission.
