Earlier tonight at around 7 p.m., West New York Commissioners Gerald Lange and Alberto Rodriguez came to the Park Towers building located at 5101 Park Ave. after being called by supporters of Mayor Silverio “Sal” Vega. They said they were volunteers distributing flyers against a recall election and knocking on people’s doors.
Dr. Felix Roque, who is leading the campaign to recall Vega, confronted the volunteers and later confronted Lange and Rodriguez. Police were called though no one was arrested and everyone left peacefully. Read what happened in our Sunday Reporter.
