Funeral mass was celebrated Sept. 30 at Saint Rose Of Lima Church, East Hanover,for Loretta Victoria Harms, 88. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sept. 25 at the Sunrise Assisted Living facility in Westfield. She was born in Jersey City, and lived there her whole life before moving to Westfield four years ago. Loretta was an Executive Assistant for many years at Manny, Maxwell and Moore Inc. in New York City. Loretta volunteered on the auxiliary for Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck. Loretta had many things that made her life full: cooking, reading, bingo, sewing, gardening (her roses), and music. Loretta was very proud of her singing days on the radio in the 1930s performing with Arthur Pottington. She was the wife of the late Armand J. Harms, Jr.; the mother of Loretta Ennico and her husband Louis Jr., and Carol Boznanski and her husband Edward; the grandmother of Laurie Bauman, Dr. Kimberly Ennico Smith, Christopher Ennico, Ashley and Brittany Boznanski, and the great-grandmother of Ryan Bauman. She was predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Irene, and Alfred Zych and Florence Galvin. Services arranged by the G. Keenen O’Brien Funeral Home, Bayonne.
