A funeral service took place Sept. 27 for John Willie Bowens. He passed away Sept. 19 at the Jersey City Medical Center. He had been employed at Goldwell Beauty Supply as a truck driver. He was the husband of Ernestine Bowens; the brother of Clyde, Tyrone, Derrick, Benjamin Jr., Al, Clara and Denise Bowens; the cousin of Rev. Jefrick Dean, and is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
