A remake of the movie “Fame” premieres Sept. 25, and one of the main stars is Paul Iacono, who grew up in Secaucus. In fact, his father Anthony used to be the town administrator. E. Assata Wright wrote about Paul in a cover story in the Secaucus Reporter two weeks ago.
Paul has been on stage for many years, but never before in such a prominent role. And now he’s got some, well, lusty fans.
On Iacono’s page on the Internet Movie Database (imdb.com), a few teen girls have sung his praises.
A girl Alyson Marie wrote, “I randomly see him at the new yorks sports club in midtown. If his acting is anything like his body, he’ll be a star in no time. The only thing i’ve seen him in was the offbway play, landscape of the body, last April… he was incredible.”
SilverStCloud wrote, “i met him at a party in cooper square and he is too SEXY!!!”
Meanwhile, Miszperfect4 wrote, under the title “OMG SOOO HOT!”, “I went to middle school with Paul. He is such a brilliant and talented actor. He has an amazing voice and a great personality. His looks will get him very far in life.”
Not everyone was salivating, though.
One guy said he lives in North Jersey and his name is Paul Iacono, too. He wrote, “Damn… same name, same part of Jersey…All of you girls should send me sexy pictures of yourselves. (geesh… if I’d looked like that when I was his age I’d probably spend a lot less on psychiatrists now)”
