A funeral service took place Sept. 15 for Hugo Villacis, 68. He passed away Sept. 12 at Compassionate Care Hospice at the Atrium, Jersey City. Born in Ecuador, he moved to Jersey City in 1970. He worked as a machine operator for 10 years for Joseph and Son, Inc. in South Hackensack. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Ana Vasquez and two children, Giovanni and Dudley. He is also survived by his mother, Luz Maria Izurieta; a special sister-in-law, Sonia Santiago and six brothers: Carlos, Gonzalo, Hernan, Ivan, Jacobo, and Walter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Services arranged by the Introcaso-Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
