Two more directors hired at Hoboken City Hall

Acting Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer announced on Friday her appointment of Brandy Forbes to be director of the Department of Community Development and Leo Pellegrini to be director of Health and Human Services in City Hall.
Zimmer said Forbes brings a wealth of local government experience and most recently was the township planner for Edison. Forbes also worked as assistant township administrator for Maplewood and as the city administrator in Solon, Iowa. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she majored in economics. She also received her Masters of Arts from the University of Iowa in urban and regional planning.
Pellegrini brings extensive private sector experience, Zimmer said in a release, and is leaving his post a senior financial services officer. Pellegrini serves as the director of Hoboken’s travel soccer team and has a strong passion for Hoboken’s recreational activities. Pellegrini is a graduate of Montclair State University where he majored in business administration.
