U.W.A. Martial Arts offers new after school programs

The After School U.W.A. Martial Arts Black Belt Leadership Academy – a private school located at 250 Broadway (corner of 10th Street) – is now offering a new after school martial arts programs for the entire family: Little Dynamos (3 to 5 years old); Jr. Dragons (6 to 12 years old); Leadership and Boot Camp Teen Programs; and adult fitness programs designed to help you lose weight and feel great with cardio kickboxing and self-defense programs.
In addition, one of the new programs, called Ken-Jutsu/Miyama Ryu Ju-Jutsu (swordsmanship), is for black belt students only (open to all styles). The class will be conducted by Sensei Lenin Perdomo, a 25 year veteran of martial arts (such as Japanese Judo, Ken-Jutsu, Ju-Jutsu and Aikido).
“The new programs are fun and exciting physical exercise, which will help you and your child increase power, speed, endurance, flexibility, balance and coordination,” said Educator Austin Wright. “Our new team of highly qualified instructors at the U.W.A. School of Self-Defense assist parents by building self-confidence, improving concentration, practicing self-discipline, increasing respect, learning self-defense, and developing the ‘Yes, I can!’ winning positive attitude.”
The academy invites you to visit the remodeled, air conditioned, spacious, family friendly facility on 250 Broadway.
“We are more than a martial arts school,” said Chief Instructor Shihan Antonio Wilson, Sixth Dan. “We are an after school martial arts P.L.U.S. Program. Preparing Leaders for Unlimited Success through our U.W.A. combined martial arts program.”
U.W.A. provides transportation, and the new after school programs start at 3:30 p.m. Limited space is available, so sign up now.
