Gregory Malave’s efforts

Dear Editor:
In contrast to the negative stories coming from City Hall in Jersey City these days, I wanted to offer the text of a letter that I recently sent to the Mayor’s Action Bureau: August 21, 2009 Judi Reilly Office of the Mayor 280 Grove Street, Room 105 Jersey City, NJ 07304 Dear Ms. Reilly, I wanted to write this letter to express my gratitude for the assistance that was provided by Gregory Malave of your office. The two lots next door to me are owned by the City: 319 Pacific Avenue contains a vacant (abandoned) building and 317 Pacific is a vacant lot. Both of the lots were a complete eyesore (full of garbage, weeds, construction debris, etc.). Thanks to Mr. Malave’s ongoing efforts and coordination with various City departments I was pleased to return from a business trip recently to find both lots completely fixed up. Everything looks great (with the exception of the abandoned building). It looks as though someone must have come in with a bulldozer and cleared out all of the junk that looked to have been piling up for years. I just wanted to you to know that the efforts of people like Gregory Malave have a great impact in the lives of people throughout the City.

Sincerely,
Anthony H. Jones
