Christie scheduled to appear at JC charter school

Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie is scheduled to make an appearance on Monday around noon at the Learning Community Charter School at their new location at 2495 Kennedy Blvd., in Jersey City, a Hudson County town Christie hopes to get votes from in the Nov. 3 election.
According to Shelley Skinner, Director of Development and Outreach for the school, the Christie campaign reached out to the school recently since Christie is championing the issue of having more charter schools in New Jersey as one of his campaign platforms. Christie will be given a tour of the school. and will spend probably an hour at the school. Skinner said Christie may also address other issues besides charter schools based on questions from parents and teachers who show up at the school. – RK
