Funeral services took place Aug. 19 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Todd Maurice Patterson. He was born in Jersey City. Todd attended P.S. 15 and Dickinson High School. After graduation, he was awarded a scholarship to play football at Lackawanna Junior College, later transferring to West Virginia State University. He was a well respected athlete and friend to many. Todd was employed by the Jersey City Board of Education. Todd leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Gloria Patterson; special friend, Bianca Reyes; his son, Todd Jr. and daughter, Briana Patterson; his grandmother, Clara Patterson; three sisters, Lori and Kim Lowman and Tynece Patterson; a sister-in-law, Renee Patterson; three brothers, Michael, Kenneth and Sean Patterson; two aunts, Doris McGee and Barbara Lee; an uncle, Robert Lee; and close friends, Cory and Rashawn Graham, Mike Renaud, Andre Smith, Terrence Smith, Silas McReynolds, Tim Royster and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
