A Mass of Christian Burial was held Aug. 14 at Sacred Heart Church, Gardner, Mass., for Nicholas R. “Nick” Wojtukiewicz, 29, of Hoboken. He died Aug. 9 at home. He was born in Leominster, Mass. He grew up in Gardner. He graduated from Gardner High School with the class of 1998. While attending Gardner High School he played basketball for his father and was the manager for the State Runnerup Champion Team in 1990. He attended Mount Wachusett Community College and UMass Lowell, receiving a B.A. in Fine Arts 2006. He worked for the Gardner Municipal Golf Course and Vesper Country Club. He moved to New Jersey where he worked for Chem-Lawn, and Manhattan Beer Distributors as a graphic designer. He was currently employed by Jersey Eagle-Anheuser Busch Distributors as a sales representative. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family when he was home and especially enjoyed when they visited him in New York. He loved spending summers on the Cape in Provincetown. He enjoyed sports, especially the Celtics and the rest of the Boston teams, movies, music and graphic design. He was a beer connoisseur. Besides his parents he leaves his maternal grandfather, Wesley Amadon of Gardner; his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Wojtukiewicz of Gardner; his aunt and uncle Richard and Jessica Wojtukiewicz of New Ipswich, NH; two uncles, Martin Amadon of Hampton, VA and Richard Amadon of Newport News, Va.; two cousins, Garrett Wojtukiewicz of Boston and Dr. Lindsay Johnson of Foxboro.
