Registration for Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth season begins

Registration for the 2010 season for both Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth is set to begin Thursday, Aug. 13. Registration is being held at the clubhouse at The Yard at Haddad Stadium, located at Fifth Street, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Any players new to either Cal Ripken or Babe Ruth must bring an original birth certificate along with a PSE&G bill for proof of residency (these documents are proof of residency and age verification and will not be kept by the league).
Ages for the Cal Ripken division are 5 to 12 (born between May 1,1997 to April 30, 2005). For Babe Ruth division, ages are 13 to 15 (born between May 1, 1994 to April 30, 1997). If you have any questions, call (201) 436-8787.
All returning players must re-register in order to play in 2010. Keep in mind that rosters spots are not guaranteed. If you do not register your child during the open registration period, you will be at risk of losing your child’s spot. Forms are available for download on the Web site at www.leaguelineup.com/bayonnecalripken. Feel free to have it printed and filled out beforehand.
Registration fees for the upcoming season are as follows: For both Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken divisions, single child registration is $150, $225 for two children, and $300 for three or more children. For instructional age children (league age six and under), the fee will be $100 for one child and $175 for two children. If your family has one instructional age child and one age seven or older, the fee schedule will be $200. If your family has one instructional age and two or more children league age seven or older, the fee will be $275. If you have two instructional age children and one child or more league age seven or older, the fee will be $250.
