A funeral mass was offered July 25 at St. Joseph of the Palisades Church, West New York, for Jose Vazquez. He passed away July 22. He worked for the Guttenberg Savings Bank for over 20 years, retiring in 1993. He was the husband of Lilia (Garces); the father of Arlene Vazquez, Sandra Vazquez and Rebecca Vazquez; the brother of Hermina Gonzalez; the grandfather of Eterne Merzeau, Cheyenne Rescorl, Alejandro Castro and Max Castro.
