Cammarano resignation to be tendered by 9 a.m.; Zimmer sworn in after

A source very close to Peter Cammarano confirmed that the mayor will deliver a resignation letter to Hoboken City Hall by 9 a.m. Friday. As of now, they are not planning for there to be any press conference, the source said.
Some time afterward, Council President Dawn Zimmer, who lost to Cammarano in last month’s runoff election by a mere 161 votes, will be sworn in as acting mayor.
