Associated Press refers to infamous Reporter question about Peter Cammarano’s favorite Beatle

As our readers know, in May, the Hudson Reporter newspaper group conducted a Hoboken mayoral debate in our office between the two runoff candidates, Councilman Peter Cammarano and Councilwoman Dawn Zimmer.
To learn more about their personalities and see how they reacted to an offbeat question, we asked them to name their favorite Beatle.
Zimmer blanked on the question, something Cammarano (and the local press) had fun with later. Cammarano enthusiastically chose John Lennon.
Well, in the last few days, the episode formed the basis of a Star-Ledger editorial — although the Ledger said the question was asked as part of a candidate questionaire. (Oh well!) You can still watch the debate video on our site.
Now, the Associated Press has further revived the Beatle question by excerpting the Ledger editorial as well as others from newspapers around the state that are related to the corruption scandal.
