A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated July 18 at St. Joseph’s in Bayonne for Jeanne W. Gorecki. She died peacefully July 15 at the Atrium at Hamilton Park in Jersey City. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lucy Lottie Wysocki and was predeceased by her husband, Charles S. Gorecki. Mrs. Gorecki was born in Bayonne and also lived for a time in Huntington, W.Va. She was a member of St. Helen’s Church in Westfield. She was employed for many years by the International Nickel Company in various capacities, including as a payroll clerk and cashier at the Bayonne Works. Jeanne was devoted to her family and always gave generously of herself to help them in many ways. She was an independent person who did not like to impose upon others to assist her. Jeanne was predeceased by her brothers, S. Alexander Wysock and Victor Wysock, and her sisters, Honora Dzubeck, Irene Bukovecky and Priscilla Lewandoski. She was a special aunt and is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Services arranged by the Dzikowski, Pierce and Levis Funeral Home, Bayonne.
