USA Today: Hoboken, JC hotels lure NYC tourists

We’ve always known that Hudson County was a better deal for tenants and tourists than pricey old New York City, and you get the same views and convenience. Now, USA Today shares an Associated Press article on the hotels of Jersey City and Hoboken, with photos of the views you get.
Hey, don’t forget about the luxury hotels in Secaucus and Weehawken, too!
USA Today says: “Now both of these cities on the waterfront are home to new luxury hotels, The Westin Jersey City Newport, which opened in January, and the W Hoboken Hotel, which opened in March.
“The hotels, 2 miles apart, are hoping to lure business travelers and tourists away from New York with larger rooms, cheaper rates, views of the Manhattan skyline and access to the city via the convenient 24-hour, $1.75 PATH train.”
The story also talks about the challenges in this economy. Read more
