A funeral mass was offered July 13 at Sts. Ann’s Church, Hoboken, for Lena Calabrese, 82. She passed away July 9 at St. Ann’s Home, Jersey City. Lena was born in Hoboken, was a lifelong resident, and was a graduate of AJ Demarest High School and a Majorette there as well. She was in banking management for 25 years at The Shroeder Trust Co., New York. She was the sister of Antoinette Gunther and the late John “Skippy” Calabrese, Phillip Calabrese, Francis Xavier Calabrese, Millie Colicchio, Anna M. Calabrese, and Rose Calabrese; the aunt of Rev. Fr. Damian Colicchio, Rose Marie Calabrese, Peter Calabrese, and Paul Gunther; the great-aunt of Nicholas Calabrese, and of Vincent Malvaso, Maria Malvaso, and Antoinette Malvaso.
