According to various reports, two police are now in critical condition in Jersey City Medical Center after a 5:15 a.m. Thursday shootout in that town. Three other officers were shot and three others were injured.
Two suspects were killed: a man and a woman.
Sources say the shootout began when a man was pulled over by police and began shooting, then ran inside an apartment building. The SWAT Team arrived soon after.
