On Sunday, June 7, 2009 the Jersey City Puerto Rican Day Heritage Festival and Parade Committee announced the 2009 honorees. Among those honored is Robert Lamboy, a career law enforcement officer who retired attaining the rank of Lieutenant with the Jersey City Police Department. Lamboy currently serves as Chief of Staff for Hudson County Sheriff Juan M. Perez.
