Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner was in a two vehicle collision Wednesday, July 1 at approximately 9:30 p.m. near the Lincoln Tunnel and Boulevard East. Turner said the other driver was a woman who seemed like she didn’t want to turn into the Lincoln Tunnel and served toward the left, hitting Turner’s vehicle on the passenger side, deploying its airbag.
Thursday, Turner reported a sore wrist and chest due to the collision, but no serious injuries. He said he went to work the next day.
