To the Editor:
June 22 is the last day of school for Bayonne’s students this year, and graduation day for the students of BHS. It also marks a “graduation” of a different sort for James McFadden, who will walk out the door of BHS for the last time after 35 years of service to the district.
Mr. McFadden has devoted his life to the students of Bayonne. In his role as an English and Spanish teacher, he has assisted students in their pursuit of college acceptances and careers in the military. Senor McFadden was most knowledgeable and successful in his preparation of bilingual students for all state and college tests.
When he leaves, there will be a vast empty space in the World Languages Department. We thank him for his good work, his dedication, his tireless efforts on behalf of the students of Bayonne High School, and wish him a healthy, happy, long retirement!
Semper fi, Senor McFadden.
