Flood watch for this weekend

The metro area is under a flood watch for this weekend. Heavy rain is predicted from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service:

* FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON
* RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL HAS LEFT SOIL CONDITIONS ACROSS THE WATCH AREA SATURATED. LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO PUSH THROUGH
THE LOCAL AREA SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. WHILE IT IS TOO EARLY TO DETERMINE THE EXACT TRACK…HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING.
* BETWEEN 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN…LOCALLY HIGHER…IS EXPECTED TO FALL ACROSS THE AREA STARTING LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND LASTING
THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.
*THE RAINFALL HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE FLOODING ACROSS HIGHLY URBANIZED AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. ROADWAYS COULD BECOME
IMPASSABLE AT TIMES. IN ADDITION…THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR MINOR STREAM AND RIVER FLOODING.
