Hoboken museum says thanks

Dear Editor:
On April 25th, the Hoboken Historical Museum held its annual fundraiser – “The Great Hoboken Auction.”
Many people came to have a fun evening. They did.
Many people came to shop for bargains. They got them.
Many people came to get unusual items, antiques, art, and priceless events. They got them, too.
Without the assistance of many staff and volunteers, and the generosity of donors, we could not have had the great success we had.
Very special thanks go to Michael Barry of Applied Companies, Eugene Flinn of Amanda’s who always does an outstanding job as our auctioneer, and Acting Chief Richard Blohm of the Hoboken Fire Department who allowed us to auction off lunch at a firehouse, and a ride on the fire truck in the Memorial Day parade.
We can’t list everyone, but you know who you are and we are so grateful to you. The support you showed by donating and spending, means our museum can continue to thrive.
Don’t miss our next fabulous events – “The Hoboken Baby Parade” on May 17th and “The Secret Garden Tour” on Sunday, May 31st.
