Coming in two Saturdays: Manhattanhenge

Twice a year, the setting sun perfectly aligns with the east/west streets of Manhattan, throwing flares of bright orange-red right down the streets. It’s worth heading into the city to snap some photos of the gorgeous hues and shadows, if you can avoid being blinded.
But does the same thing happen in Hoboken? Anyone know?
If you get pics in Hoboken or Manhattan, send to: editorial@hudsonreporter.com, and we’ll put them up.
The specifics: Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 are the days when the effect will be the best. Sunset will occur around 8:17 p.m., according to one website, so arrive early.
Your best bet is to find a wide street in Manhattan that allows sunlight. Our editor hung out on 14th Street and Sixth Avenue a year ago and snapped these. Click to view them all.
