Report of swine flu in Hoboken likely exaggerated

Rumors of a swine flu case in Hoboken are so far untrue, said City Hall spokesperson Paul Drexel this evening.
While a Hoboken youngster was confirmed with a case of the flu today, Drexel said, health officials do not believe the symptoms are consistent with the potentially more serious swine flu.
However, five students in nearby Union City were confirmed with the swine influenza in the past week. Their school, Robert Waters Elementary School, is closed this week.
Twenty-two cases of the swine flu have been confirmed in New Jersey.
