UPDATED: Hoboken’s final numbers; council runoff could change…

While it is clear that Peter Cammarano and Dawn Zimmer will vie for the Hoboken mayoralty on June 9, the provisional ballots may still change the neck-and-neck race to see which of the last three of six council-at-large candidates get into the runoff on that date.
The final numbers reported below (here and on other sites) do NOT include provisional ballots, or ballots challenged during the vote that will have to be checked out. Those numbers should be available by the end of the week, and so the final three council people in the runoff may change.
In addition, losing council candidates who came in close may challenge the accuracy of some of the ballots.
With absentees, final mayoral vote:
Peter Cammarano 3,755
Dawn Zimmer 3,671
Beth Mason 2,541
But the council runoff is in contention…
Dawn Zimmer’s slate of Ravi Bhalla, Carol Marsh, and David Mello are DEFINITELY making it into the council runoff.
But because none of the three won more than 50 percent of the vote, three other candidates will also make it in. As of Tuesday night, it looked like the top six will be as follows:
Carol Marsh 3,719
Ravi Bhalla 3,698
Dave Mello 3,361
Vincent Addeo, 2,624 (Mason ticket)
Raul Morales II 2,576 (Mason ticket)
Angel Alicea 2,534 (Cammarano ticket)
They were slightly ahead of candidates Mike Novak at 2,513 with absentees, and Anthony Pasquale with 2,418.
