Oy! You want that Hoboken should have its first Jewish mayor?

The Jewish Week has an article about how two of the three frontrunners in the Hoboken mayor’s race are members of the United Synagogue in Hoboken. Definitely a change from the past, when most Hoboken candidates were Italian, Irish, or Irish/Italian. (The Jewish vote still isn’t exactly a big bloc in Hoboken.)
So…why is this Tuesday night unlike all other nights?
