Dear Editor:
I support Dawn Zimmer for Mayor of Hoboken. I am continually impressed with her vision, persistence, and commitment to work hard to bring energy, excitement, and community-driven change to our city.
Her slogan, “Change that Works”, is not just words. It translates into real plans about how we can work together to examine the problems of overdevelopment, fiscal irresponsibility and outrageous taxes, parking and traffic, and too few parks and playgrounds to name just a few. Dawn’s capacity to study these issues and seek new ideas is truly evident as I walk the streets and knock on doors with her and her equally talented slate of City Council candidates – Carol Marsh, Ravi Bhalla, and David Mello.
The only way to experience the change we need is to elect Dawn and her slate. A good mayor also needs a good council. Please join me in supporting Dawn and Carol, Ravi, and David on May 12. We could all use some hopeful coming together this spring.
