A funeral mass was offered April 30 at St. Matthew’s R.C. Church, Ridgefield, for Angelina Ferrara (nee Chirichella), 96, formerly of Hoboken. She passed away April 26 surrounded by family. She was known for her intelligence, compassion, courage and her devotion to her family. She was an exceptional baker and a renowned cook. She was the wife of the late Louis Ferrara; the sister of the late Rose, Margaret and James; the mother of Ralph Ferrara and his wife Betsy, of Kinnelon, Nancy Marrella and her husband Michael of Waterford, Conn., Ann Falconieri and her husband Frank of Ridgefield, and the late Joseph Ferrara. She was the grandmother of Scott Ferrara and his wife Kim, Glenn Ferrara and his wife Clara, Elise Behn and her husband Eric, Lisa Ronneberger, Pia Cisternino and her husband John, Lauren Krueger and her husband Daniel, Michael Marrella and his wife Kathleen and Dana Parker and her husband, Christian. She was the great-grandmother of Louis, Thomas, Julia, Michael, Barry, Vincent, Alexander, Sebastian, Giannna, Joseph, Wyatt and Lucy, and aunt to Joanne and James Chirichella.
